IKD is an award winning architectural MBE design firm based in Boston and San Francisco operating at the intersection of art, architecture, culture and community.

As the Graphic Designer, the Exhibition Designer and I work remotely with a team based in Boston, MA to create dynamic exhibitions at major establishments all around the country. I have worked with this team to design graphics for exhibitions at the Clark Art Museum, the Denver Art Museum, the MIT Museum, Boston Federal Reserve, and the Austen Riggs Center. I have also worked outside of exhibitions, creating logos for clients and designing a 100-page book memorializing Timber City,
a massive Boston and Washington, D.C. exhibition about the benefits of building with timber instead of steel and concrete.

The Polaroid Project was a welcomed opportunity to design with rainbows! I designed an immersive 13' wide rainbow of 13 colors across the two rooms of the exhibition, which used topography in casework to visualize the highs and lows of Polaroid's success.

For The Iconic Jersey, I covered the entire title wall in lush artificial grass to elude to being at a real ballpark. Dimensional letters were installed over the artificial grass so that they appeared to be emerging from the grass. Graphics throughout the show were inspired by the Green Monster at Fenway Park, and platforms were designed as home plates.

The bulk of our work on the Astrup show was creating two separate fully immersive rooms with landscape photography of Astrup's home village in Norway. Multiple photos had to be stitched together at large-format sizes to create seamless landscapes that were printed wall-to-wall and floor-to-ceiling. As the Exhibition Graphic Designer, my job was to do all the stitching in Photoshop and size and prepare all individual wall files for print and installation.
